Experience

By affectivly managing and increasing our stock listings and quantaties in my warehouse, myself and my team have turn our operations from a loss to a sabstantial profit. Our sales have quadrupled over the past three years and our stock turnaound time is less than 70 days.

Our stock losses have been effectivly reduced to less than 0.1%

Our turnaround time to deliver over R12million worth of stock is 2 days from time time of receiving to delivery at the respective branches.

I manage this while at the sametime manage the claim returns on all parts for the entire western Cape region.

Below is a few of the duties that I am reposnsible for

Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Drive a zero-tolerance approach for deviation from the use of quality/ ISOprocesses to ensure customer deliverables are fully met.
Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuringphysical counts, including cycle counts are conducted and reconciled withautomated system utilising help of the warehouse/ inventory audit team.
Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goodsreceiving and goods dispatched and including labelling of all stock items
Ensure any hazardous materials are stored in accordance withrequirements.
Ensure that ISO Systems are being always adhered to and that all policiesand procedures are in line with ISO system.
Quality Control – receive and credit defective parts and generate reports
Ordering and receiving stock from suppliers and capturing the data
Receiving stock from WAG and offloading of truck.
Distribution of stock from Head office JHB to the West Cape branches
Ordering and Supplying parts to the West Cape Branches
Manage warehouse staff
Attend CCMA/DRC hearings
Manage fleet of delivery vehicles and warehouse forklift
Inspection of claims being returned from the branches
Forwarding of parts for testing off site if needed
Compilation of report for all rejected parts
Capturing of all approved claims on SAP and forwarding it to HO
Resolving any disputes that may be escalated to the ombudsman
Communicate telephonically and via email to customers that require furtherinformation regarding a rejected claim
