Counter Assault Team (CAT) - SAPS - SA
Counter Assault Team (CAT) is a specialized unit within the SAPS, part of the PPS component (Presidential Protection Service). These operators are highly trained, their training is similar and close to the Special Task Force, but not equal. The unit main objective is to protect the president, deputy president and other high profile dignitaries.
