My name is Mluleki Fongoqa I am applying for this opportunity because I realize it would be a best opportunity for me to enhance my skills and knowledge as the fieldworker. Previously, I worked for MRC in the study about the Tobacco marketing within the University environment, this research was an eye open for me. It allowed me to interact with students from different social cultural groups in coming to know in length about their views, knowledge and geographics that influenced them to starting smoking and how these all together sum up their lived experiences.
I would like to carry with researches to enhance my experience and contribute rich data that will help develop our society wholistically.
I have 6 months experience in research. I worked for Medical Research Council and TRI international as a fieldworker respectively.
I hold honors in Sociology at the University of Cape Town. I submitted my qualitive research thesis titled: Graduate Unemployment.
