As a very eager and motivated person, who prides himself in his discipline and work ethic, I aim to work and further my knowledge through pursuing a career in the agricultural sector. I believe that I am a suitable candidate for the job at hand as I have obtained a degree from Nelson Mandela University. I have excelled in working in labour intensive roles across various agricultural fields with a years experience in dairy, beef and husbandry, harvest as well as the nursery of raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries.

I seek a challenging agricultural management position to apply knowledge and experience to further business success and sustainability.

Nursery Senior Supervisor at Haygrove Small Beginnings (2025-04 – Present)

Planning, organizing, leading and controlling operations pertaining to the propagation of raspberry, blackberry, blueberry and strawberry plants.

Harvest Supervisor at Haygrove Eden (2024-11 – 2025-03)

Controlling flow of fruit from the field to the Packhouse. Ensuring that fruit is picked at good quality under its required specifications, picked to its intended packaging, and moved to the packhouse properly to ensure quality of the fruit is maintained.

Husbandry Supervisor at Haygrove Eden (2023-10 – 2024-11)

Supervising all operations related to the growth and maintenance of raspberry, blackberry trees and strawberry plants. Apical dominance management of trees, pruning techniques, intensive labour training and control, adhering to commercial fruit requirements across vegetative and reproductive phases of the tree.

Junior Farm Manager at DMO Beef: Rooikraal Farm (2022-11 – 2023-07)

Management of all duties regarding beef, labour and farm maintenance. Feed and water supply, vaccination schedules, cattle treatments, stock counts, calf management and field maintenance.

Intern at Just Milk: Dalfreuch Farm (2020-06 – 2021-07)

Intern in Dairy, Calves, Pasture and Machinery. Working with management and labour to gain in-depth knowledge on the Dairy enterprise. The internship allowed me to work with the milking system, understanding the relationship between pasture and supplementary feeding to supply quality raw milk with good butterfat content and low somatic cell counts.
