I have been employed from 1990. I started as an educator of matric business economics for 13years, a practicising attorney litigating in the Regional Criminal Court for 11 years and a lecturer at the University of Fort Hare for almost 3 years.
Having the above experience I have excellent communication skills, writing skills, research methodology knowledge.
People see me as being motivated and inspirational with the people I come in contact with be it my students peers or friends and family.
I was an educator of matric business economics for 13 years employed by the Department of Education. Whilst teaching I completed the LLB in 2006. I was then admitted as an attorney in the High Court of South Africa in 2007.
I have 11 years criminal law litigation in the Regional Court. I have received awards for top performance and lawyer of the year at my placeof employment. I completed the Masters in Law with specialisation in Corporate law in 2015 and I became a Lecturer at The University of Fort Hare from 2020.
I have lectured the following modules: professional skills and ethics, introduction to law, law of evidence, advanced legal writing, law of succession and administration of deceased estates. I have developed the curriculum for these modules, set assessments and marked them. I have also moderated other modules.
I have successfully lectured to over 400 students per module with a passrate of over 80%. My students have complimented my teaching skills and role as a lecturer on social media. I have wriiten one article in the Derebus in July 2022 namely" the proper interpretation of the word “offence” when an accused commits an offence while out on bail
