My name is Mpho Mpini, I am currently a Marketing Assistant at Discovery Limited, in Pretoria. Prior to my current role, I was a sales consultant at Maxlaw. My current work experience is mainly around sales and marketing from calling and persuading clients to buy company financial products, to setting up meetings with financial advisors and any ad hoc administrative duties. I am skilled in communication, marketing, and I have a positive attitude towards people and optimistic about the future.
Academically, I am a psychology graduate from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP), having graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Majoring in Psychology and Counselling).
Identifying clients according to the employer's client profile, contacting these prospective clients to introduce the employer as financial advisor and gathering their personal information as well as collecting appropriate signed documentation and thereafter obtaining appointments with these prospective clients. In addition to the above, I also conduct administrative duties as requested by the employer as well as performing several of the necessary tasks in developing and implementing financial planning, to support the employer in serving current and future clients.
