I worked as Reservations and Information Consultant and extended the scope to small tourism business support and membership admin.My duties included booking Accommodation, Tours and activities for Visitors that either walked into the visitors center or inquired through the call center or via email.

I would ensure that such inquiries are handled and dealt with effectively and would further up-sell by offering guests information and advice on things to do during their stay.My scope was further extended when I was give the role to assist the Tourism Business Support team and I would work with emerging and existing small and large Tourism business owners such as Hotel, Guest house owners and Tour Operators, Events Companies and much more.This was to ensure that all these stake holders network and build relations to ensure their growth and success.

The organization had a membership department that dealt wit the recruitment , capturing and sustenance of the memberships of every stake holder in the Tourism industry.My duties there was not limited to the recruitment , database capturing and relations personal with each member within the central region.

Duties would also include, arranging and preparing for networking sessions and media briefings as well as Tourism industry news updates shared with all industry stakeholders and members.

A diploma in Tourism, Business development and training facilitator and Tour Guiding.
