Muhle Sibiya

My name is Muhle Charity Sibiya. I am 43 years of age. I live in South Africa, i am a south african by birth. I am married with 5 children. I am now a grandmother. I have 2 sisters older then me. I am the last born at home.

I studied in North West University, doing NPDE which is National Diploma in Education. I started out as an Assistant teacher for 5 years in Georgedale Inclusive school, whilst i was studied part time. I am an English teacher now.

I graduated in 2019 and i have been recently employed as a full time English teacher at Ncinci primary school.

I started working in Georgedale Inclusive school in 2013 as a Teacher assistant. Assisting learners who had language barrier to learning. I designed a program that was able to support each learner individually.

Many learner had barriers to English because it was not their mother tongue. Later in 2017 i resigned and then in 2019 i started volunteering in Ncinci Primary School teaching Grade4's English as an entry level to intermediate phase. I am still working closely with the learners with language barriers some improve so well.

I am also in the extend school management team. I am also a coordinator of School Based Support Team. I am able to work independently and as a team. I get the job done with good results as well.

I am currently registered for ACT for a year to convert my Diploma to a Degree. I have also been attending teacher workshops that teaches us strategies to deal with learners who experience barriers to learning.
