I am an aspiring Child and Youth Care Worker (CYCW), graduated in the year 2025 with a Bachelor of Child and Youth Care Work from Durban University of Technology (DUT). My passion is to learn new skills but also lies in empowering and supporting children and youth in diverse care settings. With close to 4 years of practical experience in residential care, special needs education, and school-based interventions through work-based learning practical experience, I have developed a strong foundation in therapeutic care, communication, and problem-solving.

My bilingual fluency in English and IsiZulu enables me to connect meaningfully with children, families, and colleagues across diverse backgrounds. In addition to my professional experience, I bring a unique advantage in fostering engagement and creating a positive environment for children and youth. My strong social media presence, including a TikTok page with over 190,000 followers and 2 Million likes since 2022 and 12,000 followers on Facebook, highlights my excellent social skills and ability to connect with diverse audiences.

This platform allows me to creatively engage with youth, offering an escape, joy, and positive challenges that can contribute to their personal growth and well-being. I thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrating adaptability, resilience under pressure, and the ability to manage flexible working hours.
