: On Saturday, Ye, the artist who used to be known as Kanye West, got his account back on the social media platform X. It had been taken down nearly eight months earlier because the rapper had broken the rules of the platform that said violence shouldn't be encouraged.
Ye's account now displays his most recent post from December 1, a day before his account was suspended on platform X, the new name that Twitter owner Elon Musk has given it.
Advertisement The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, citing the social media platform, that Ye will not be eligible to monetize his account on X, and advertisements will not appear next to his posts.
Ye's record was suspended in December, only two months after it was restored, after one of his presents had before showed up on show an insignia image inside a Star of David.
