Nerisha Govender

I am a TV person, with the wit, grit and discipline to match.

In 2004 I started as an intern in the Outside Broadcast Unit of the national broadcaster. In March of 2021 I was retrenched from the broadcaster which I dedicatedly served for all that time.

I am a storyteller by nature and a natural leader. I am not obsessed with titles or pay grades but rather with excellence in myself and those arround me.

• Administration

Ability to handle all administrative aspects of production and non-production related business, from drafting proposals, business plans, contracts, job descriptions, forecasting budgets and getting through all policies and procedures to get from idea to on air.

• Production 

Subtitling Advisor/Revision

Pre-production incl. conceptualising, research, scripting etc.

Production incl. Producing & Directing a multi-cam shoot

Post-production incl. story editing on FCP

National Vocational Certificate in TV Production (MAPPP-SETA)

PG Dip, Digital Business (Emeritus in collaboration with Columbia Business School & MIT Sloan School of Management)

Project Management Professional (PMI ®️) (Currently doing exam prep)
