I specialize in hydrological and hydraulic modelling, with expertise in 1D/2D fluvial modelling using tools like HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and PCSWMM. My work focuses on assessing flood risks, designing river and flood defense structures (culverts, weirs, etc.), and evaluating natural flood management solutions. I also have experience in coastal modelling with MIKE21-SW and a strong grasp of South African flood policies.
Beyond modelling, I’m skilled in GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS), hydrology (FEH, ReFH2), and technical reporting for diverse audiences. I’ve managed projects from proposals to delivery, ensuring quality and innovation while mentoring junior staff. Collaboration and client relations are key—I work closely with teams and stakeholders to deliver sustainable, policy-aligned solutions
