I am a dynamic and goal-oriented individual with a solid foundation in metallurgical engineering.

Lab Technician - Transnet Engineering SOC limited

• Prepare and test samples using method such as spark spectrometry, wet chemistry, hardness testing and metallography
• Interpreted microstructures under a microscope to assess grain size, phase distribution and heat treatment effectiveness
• Monitor and reported the chemical composition of molten metal during production to ensure casting quality
• Maintain accurate records of test results and communicated findings to production and quality control team
• Operate and verify laboratory machines and instrument daily to ensure that they are in good working order
