Nicole Anderson

Hi, I am Nicole Anderson. Born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa. I specialize in Lifestyle & Portrait photography.

For the past 4 years I had the opportunity to work on luxury cruise ships, traveling all around the world and photographing people on a daily basis (yay!). I am incredibly passionate about Portrait Photography.

I love the challenge of capturing people in a unique and creative way. Portraying the raw emotions, the special moments as it happens and even the lingering ones most people tend to miss.

Some fun facts about me, I am super laidback yet observant. Love, looove music! You would find almost every type of genre and language in my playlist. Anything outdoors - count me in! Camping, hiking and even extreme sports.

For the past 4 years I've gained international experience working as a private studio photographer onboard luxury cruise ships. There I not only worked with different nationalities and people, but I also managed my own studio space from booking shoots onboard and ashore.

I specialize in both black & white and color photography but not limited to shooting private special events like weddings and engagements.

Marketing and networking at social events with high valued clients on a regular basis. Working under pressure in post production with short turn around time for editing and selling products. Meeting deadlines and pushing to reach team targets.

Most recently I completed a Diploma in Customer Service. I was trained in crowd management onboard.

I also attended and completed two intense photography boot camp courses, hosted by Yuri Arcus – The world’s highest selling stock photographer - in 2012 and 2016. Although, I gained much exposure and comprehensive training in this field, I found lifestyle and portrait photography to be my passion.
