Nikhiel Budhai

As a Candidate Civil Engineer, I am actively involved in the civil engineering industry. Through my affiliations with numerous engineering bodies and organizations, I have grown my network of industry professionals. I am an Alumni of Howard College (UKZN), where I obtained my BSc (Hons.).

I am a young Engineer contributing and exploring innovative approaches that further the development within the field of civil engineering. Currently employed as a Commercial Civil Engineer at Maccaferri SA, I have worked on a variety of projects within South Africa. I have a keen interest in research, my eagerness drives me to explore geotechnical engineering solutions.

I believe I exemplify the essence of motivation and perseverance being involved in multiple programs holding different roles; I believe that they each equipped me for my future in the engineering fraternity. I look forward to attaining my Masters in Geotechnical Engineering and Professional Registration Status in the forthcoming years.
