- My daily routine include operating human machine interphase to control robots, conveyors, cutting tables, facing invetor, transfer car
- Making sure that bevellings are good, if not i adjust them
- Checking quality of the brick, the cores and the sizes using vernier

- Plant inspection by checking physical condition of cable racks, switchgear, glands, connection box, motors and lights
- Wiring panels for motors using standard drawing, variable speed drive,soft starter from mcc to the field, testing the working condition
- Inspection on 11kv to 4kv transformer leakage, checking conditions of transformer, top up oil if required, recording oil and temperature, checking silica gel for colour change and replacing it if colour is pink and reporting feedback
- Changing motors, test fault on the motors before replacing
- Installation according to SANS 10142 for socket outlet, lights, distribution boards, circuit breakers and apply wiring standard on distribution boards
- Fault finding on electrical machines, inspection John Thompson boiler, John brown boiler and Yarrow Danks boiler
- Generator inspection for availability when there is a power failure, checking if the changeover panel is still operating, checking battery and diesel level and report it.
