I am a Junior Analytics Engineer who is interested in a role as an Analytics Engineer, or the opportunity to up-skill into a Data Scientist role. I am most comfortable working with data loading & warehousing (Fivetran & Snowflake), data modeling (dbt, data form), and data visualization (Looker), however, I am open to working with Python and being more involved in the creation of machine learning models.
In my next role, I would like to be offered the opportunity to move from a Junior role to a more intermediate role that will allow me to have more ownership of projects and allow me to be heavily involved in designing data models, gathering information, writing code, maintaining data documentation, communicating results and collaborating with team members and various stakeholders in the company.
I would like a company culture that focuses on growth by investing in professional development, continuing education, training, and mentorship for employees, a company that is diverse in thought and approaches, and a hierarchal structure and management style that promotes trust and freedom. My ideal team/company size would be small to medium-sized. However, I am open to bigger corporates too. The benefits I would like to include health insurance and professional development/education benefits.
