I am depandable job seeker ,from Durban, KZN,looking for work as a care giver or general worker ,i have experience supporting elderly clients with daily care and i am physically fit and manual Labour roles.

Care giver (door to door) at Hluhluwe.clinic (Present)

• Home visits
• Visit households in the assigned area (door-to-door)
• Take vital signs: blood pressure, temperature, sugar levels (with glucometer), weight (MUAC for kids)
• Give health education: hygiene, nutrition, treatment adherence, family planning, immunisation
• Refer sick people to the clinic and follow up on referrals
• Support patients on chronic medication (remind them to take treatment, check pill boxes)
• Record every visit on the household form / CHW app
• Report births, deaths, notifiable diseases to the clinic sister
• Collect defaulters (patients who stopped coming for treatment) and encourage them to return
• Assist bedridden/elderly clients with basic personal care (washing, changing linen) if required by clinic
• Distribute condoms, deworming tablets, Vitamin A (if trained)
• Trace TB contacts / do DOT support (directly observed treatment)
• Promote clinic services (immunisation days, pap smear, etc.)
