I am writing to express my interest in the advertised role. I currently work for an International advertising company as a Junior Accountant assigned on UK and US agencies. The complexity of my current role requires critical thinking, problem solving, soft skills, meeting deliverables of the Finance directors in the different agencies and also prioritising monthend reporting deadlines of the Group.

I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to contribute to documenting internal processes, identifying control deficiencies and recommending internal controls for improving financial reporting of the agencies to align with group reporting objectives. I also assist group with Intercompany payments and intercompany mismatches. I work closely with treasury as there are multi foreign currency payments, Forex trade deal settlements for bank reconciliation purposes.

I have also worked in several other industries as an audit clerk both in public and private sector engagements. Having worked with diverse teams locally and internationally and as a people-oriented person, I am very enthusiastic about working with different management while managing my sole responsibilities as an Accountant. I am currently looking for an opportunity to grow into a new role.
