I have a little over a year in Transcription experience. I have more than 2 years experience with computer skills such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel which means that I know my way around different types or documents and the general usage of computers. I currently work part time as an administrator for a Doctor so I do a lot of typing as well.
I have spent 10 years watching American and South African television shows so I can differentiate between different vocabulary in English and even with the different accents, I'm still able to type exactly what I hear and it is accurate. I am also very good at following different guidelines given by different clients. I learnt how to do that when I was working at Rev and sometimes clients' preference will be slightly different from the company's general guidelines and I would quickly have to adjust to that so I can produce excellent work.
