Terrestrial & Arivi: Field-Market-Research collecting data from focus groups in order to determine the most effective means to communicate. Data collected was also used to make required revisions to the products being marketed whilst establishing a network of distributors & resellers. Data collected also helped guide marketing content (digital & print)
direction, focusing on which channels work best for the resellers. Facebook Ads (boosted)
were used for resellers & clients with more access to the internet. Monitoring metrics such as optimal times to post, age/life stage and location allowed for creating more targeted content.
Shofar Christian Church(NPO): On-campus (University of Pretoria |UP) engagement allowed for the creation of more organic marketing campaigns by observing online and
“real-world” social trends. One such campaign is the annual relationship seminar, by observing trending topics and key phrases, I was able to produce marketing content, using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Audition and InDesign, (for Instagram/Facebook videos/static banner ads and print media for campus) this allowed us to reach a remarkably larger audience as compared to previous years. This allowed me to learn about the analytical side of Instagram more specifically as one can track how successful each post is using the platform’s tools.
