As a dedicated final-year Analytical Chemistry student, I am seeking a role in chemical analysis as a Laboratory Technician with anticipated graduation in September 2025. With my background in Analytical chemistry and hands-on experience gained through my studies and laboratory exposure, leveraging my transferable skills in problem-solving, teamwork and laboratory safety protocols.

Laboratory technician trainee at Intertek Testing Services SA Chemical (2024-08 – Present)

Throughout my studies, I have gained hands-on experience in instrumental techniques: Flash Point, Distillation, Conductivity, Auto titrator, Coulometric Titration, Sulfur and Nitrogen analyzer, Viscometer, IP440, ISO 4406 and Density.

• Carrying out analyses as per clients' requirements and following the ISO 19001 and 17025
• Perform these analyses in accordance with the mandatory test methods and SOP'S protocols
• Ensure the accuracy and precision of all tests and calculations are correct
• Maintain records of all raw data/calculations for each test and perform so that it is traceable
• Apply and promote safety, health and environment and compliance instructions, witness analysis at sub-contractors' facilities
