GENERAL TASKS
- Read mould drawing designs.
- Communicate with Designers at Topline Tooling regarding designs and recommend changes where applicable.
- Manufacture moulds to design specifications maintaining specified tolerances.
- Assemble manufactured moulds.
- Test manufactured moulds through trials on relevant equipment and with relevant operators.
- Carry out refurbishments/improvements to existing moulds when necessary.
- Deal with breakdowns relating to relevant moulds.
- Maintain and repair existing moulds.
- Train Toolmaker Apprentices.
- Maintain machines and measuring equipment (clean and functioning efficiently).
- Ensure good housekeeping/safety standards.
- Complete daily timekeeping records.

- Operate Conventional Milling and Lathe Machine
- Surface Grinding
- Strip and Assemble Moulds
- Operate EDM plunge
- Maintain / Repair Moulds
- Polish moulds when required
- Attend to breakdowns when they arise
- Do wiring of mould
- Change inserts on moulds
