Nwabisa Mkabile

As an experienced Tax practitioner, I hold over 6 years in experience VAT and have been involved in advising clients from a broad range of sectors including consumer products and retail, financial services, educational services, government entities and non-profit organisations.

I graduated with a MCom degree in taxation from Rhodes University in 2014 and I began my professional career in 2015 as a tax trainee at Ernst & Young. After completing the three-year training program, EY offered me a full- time position as an Assistant Manager in the Indirect Tax team. In October 2019 I was promoted to the role of Manager.

I have gained a broad range of experience in advising companies on technical indirect tax issues, as well as experience in working and managing a diverse group of people. I apply a high-level focus on service-delivery and partnership-ethic in engaging with multi-level role-players, and in leading concentrated teams to deliver a balanced customer-centric and solutions-oriented approach to Tax advisory. I work well in a team, and I am also able to work independently.

I am motivated by learning new things and have recently earned an accredited Ernst & Young badge in Data Visualisation and Data Integration, which required the completion of various beginner Udemy courses in Alteryx and PowerBi.
