I am a proactive and enthusiastic individual with extensive expertise in Education Training and Development, proven at both a strategic and operational level. Has boldness and vision to initiate new ideas and implement innovative approaches through strategic direction. Excellent communication and presentation skills underpinned by an enthusiastic and proactive approach.

A long-standing interest in training has now given me the confident and determination to embark a career. Started as a Training Officer in the Chemical laboratory in April 2006, I am a registered Assessor and Moderator with ETDP SETA. Completing level 6 of Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development qualification assisted me in acquiring ETD required skills.

Analytical Chemist - Anglogold Ashanti Chemical Laboratory - Western Deep Level, Carletonville

The Laboratory is involved in producing accurate and precise values for Gold Plant to Control the metallurgical Processes as well as account for their Gold Production. In order to maintain these requirements the Laboratory follows guidelines as per ISO-Guide 25 Code of practice for the Fire Assay Procedure. Instrumentation that is being utilized in the Laboratory includes Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, X-ray and UV VIS Spectrometry.

The laboratory consists of two domains, i.e. Pyrometallurgical and Wet Chemistry. I was responsible for the operation of either or both of the domains. My duties included the:

• Planning, organizing, leading and controlling routine and non-routine analysis.
