Paige Hood

I am a dedicated Education student at North-West University with a passion for supporting learner development and creating engaging learning environments. I am currently working at LESEN School, where I assist with developing learners’ gross motor skills, and I also co-coach mini netball at current school. These roles have strengthened my ability to work with children, build positive relationships, and encourage both physical and personal growth.

I am organized, patient, and enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact in education.

Head Girl (President) at School of Achievement (2025 – 2025)

Served as Head Girl (President) at School of Achievement, where I demonstrated strong leadership, responsibility, and the ability to represent and guide the student body.

Public Relations Officer at Ekurhuleni South District (2025 – 2025)

Developed communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills through coordinating events and engaging with various stakeholders.

Student Teacher at School of Achievement (2026 – Present)

Gained hands-on experience working with learners from Grade 1 to Grade 4. Role includes lesson support, classroom management, and assisting with learner development across various subjects. Assist with administrative and reception duties, including managing phone calls, operating the intercom system, and supporting daily school operations.

Work closely with learners on gross motor development activities on Thursdays and Fridays, contributing to their physical and cognitive growth. Serve as a Co-Coach for Mini Netball, helping develop young learners' teamwork, coordination, and foundational sporting skills.
