About

I am an accomplished and dynamic Environmental Specialist with 14 years professional working experience. Throughout my career, I leveraged my knowledge in designing programs for ensuring compliance to environmental authorisations, leading inspections, and audits with internal and external stakeholders, performing environmental and social due diligence on projects, facilitating stakeholder engagements, and ensuring integration of environmental requirements in engineering designs, construction practices and operation requirements in the energy sector.

I have extensive experience working in the energy sector. Responsible for acquiring environmental authorisations, specialising in acquiring water use license, waste management and monitoring compliance to all environmental authorisations during construction and operation.

Coordinate the environmental permitting and service for project to reach financial close
Monitor and advise on compliance to environmental related approvals during construction.
Development and implementation of Project specific Environmental and Social Management System.
Monitor and advise on conformance to International Finance Corporation Performance Standards and Equator Principles requirements for environmental and social aspects.
Facilitate Stakeholder engagement during start of construction of projects.
Provide environmental requirements for engineering design specifications.
Monitoring and reporting noncompliance of Environmental Licences (Water Use Licence, Atmospheric Emission Licence, Waste Licence etc.)
Development of environmental related procedure that are used at the Power Station to ensure sound environmental management.

Conduct environmental related investigation and reporting.
Conduct environmental awareness and education for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct environmental evaluations for commercial tenders.
Facilitate internal and external environmental audits.
