Conducting hygiene/health and safety inspections/risk assessments, with regards to the R638 and ISO 10049, at various high-profile clients throughout South Africa and all neighboring countries. Legionella and COVID-19 inspections also formed part of my duties, but mostly inspecting and advising clients regarding food safety and general Health & Safety matters in the workplace. Performing microbiological sampling at clients.
Maintaining and updating a detailed database of all clients. Maintaining existing client relationships and establishing new ones.
Assisting with training new staff members. Filming and executing educational videos for marketing purposes. Provided training to clients and assisted in creating training videos.
Managing and keeping track of all the auditors’ timesheets and ensuring everyone is on track and to pick up whether there are any areas in which they struggle and need extra help. Was also tasked with managing the team when I was the most senior on site.

Performed the full range of biological testing on a wide range of food, water and swabbed samples in a SANAS accredited laboratory. Took part in sensory evaluation test in comparing and grading a wide range of food products based on taste, smell, texture and colours. Performed very sensitive monthly quality control test to ensure retention of laboratory accreditations.
