- Setting up jobs on jigs and fixtures. I operate Doosan Puma VTR1620M with fanuc control, Doosan Ace-H100 with fanuc control, Mynx 650/50 with fanuc control Giddings and Lewis with Siemens control.
- Measure dimensions using different instruments such as verniers, inside and outside micrometers, steel ruler, tape etc.
- Edit and manipulate programs to meet drawing specification
- Make sure that my tooling and inserts are in good condition in order to produce good finishing on parts machined.
- Monitoring of feeds and speeds of machines during the machining process.
- Ensuring quality standards and engineering standards are conformed to in accordance with engineering drawings.
