As a driven and enthusiastic mathematics professional, I, Pontsho Malope, have dedicated my career to sharing the beauty and complexity of mathematics with students from diverse backgrounds. With a strong academic foundation in mathematical sciences, I have honed my expertise through years of teaching, tutoring, and mentoring. I hold a degree in mathematical sciences, an Honours degree in Applied Mathematics(cum laude) , and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics(Magna Cum Laude) . My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, theories, and applications.
My research focuses on exploring both analytical and numerical methods for solving the diffusion equation. Analytical approaches involve finding exact solutions using techniques such as separation of variables, Fourier analysis, and Laplace transforms. Numerical methods, on the other hand, involve approximating solutions using discretization techniques,
such as finite difference or finite element methods.
