I have a GWO qualification (Wind Turbine Service Technician NQF level 5) and S3 electrical engineering diploma from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. I have completed a three years learnership electrician programme. I have done bolting, shaft alignment, PLCs, Blade repairs at South African Renewable Energy Technology Centre (SARETEC) training centre. I am now a Radiation Protection Monitor, through eskom 18 month program.
I am a competent and organized individual who is able to work as part of the team and manage several priorities at any time. I have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a keen desire to learn and grow within a firm. I possess superb communication skills, and always treat people with respect and and according to their individual needs.
I have a total of 5 years working experience. I am a qualified Electrician with a trade test certificate. I worked for EOH Industrial Technologies as an electrician where I performed electrical wiring for Motor Control Centre (MCC)panels, PLC wiring and installation.
I have experience in the wind turbine field where I work as a field service technician, my duties were working on AW3000 Wind Turbine. I have worked on hydraulics, preventative maintenance, planned maintenance, corrective maintenance on the turbine. I have experience in electrical fault finding and troubleshooting, panel wiring from schematic drawings, installation, maintenance (electrical and mechanical), assisting with HV electrical switching and problem solving.
I am excellent in analysing schematic drawings, conducting quality assurance and reporting.
I have Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) which I obtained at Falsebay College. Wind Turbine Service Technician NQF level 5 certificate which I obtained at Cape Peninsula University of Technology under SARETEC.
