Spearheaded a core network modernization project, migrating from legacy hardware to a redundant Huawei-based core. Manage, train, and mentor support agents and network technicians, fostering technical excellence and accountability. Oversee high-site and FTTH infrastructure, including design, upgrades, bandwidth monitoring, and redundancy planning. Extended to critical data center operations at Teraco, managing power (A/B feeds), cabling, DCIM, and hardware lifecycle. Drive server and network environment management, including advanced BGP routing (route reflector clusters, BGP attribute values, complex migrations with major providers), IP assignments, Proxmox servers, backups, and remote access solutions. Designed and implemented advanced features like MCLAG/LACP, QinQ, ERPS and BGP-RR. Plan, document, and supervise client projects and technical rollouts, assisting technicians with complex installations and escalations. Liaise with vendors for equipment procurement, setup, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Implement and maintain security policies, disaster recovery plans, and compliance procedures (ICASA, redundancy, server resilience). Proactively focused on enhancing security through DDoS mitigation strategies and formal Incident Response planning. Develop and deliver technical training programs and documentation for staff and clients to ensure knowledge transfer and process consistency. Lead technical escalations from support or operations, providing solutions for critical network issues. Initiate and evaluate new technologies, monitoring tools, and automation solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
