It encompasses the fundamental principles of Engineering Sciences and Applied Physics: Structural Mechanics (FEA linear and non-linear), Fluid Mechanics (compressible flows and CFD), Thermodynamics (power plants and heat transfer systems), Engineering Design and so forth.
