My name is Melvin. I am a qualified and experienced mechanical technician with experience in heavy-duty machinery, maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs. I have worked on mining equipment, including Epiroc D65 drill rigs, where I gained practical experience in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
My responsibilities have included preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, servicing, call-outs, diagnostics, and working with hydraulic and electrical schematics to identify and resolve faults. I am comfortable working under pressure and understand the importance of safety, reliability and completing maintenance work to a high standard.
I consider myself a hardworking, disciplined and team-oriented person. I am always willing to learn, improve my skills and take responsibility for my work. I also understand that in a mining or workshop environment, safety and good communication are extremely important.
I am now looking for an opportunity where I can use my technical experience, contribute to the company, and continue growing as a technician. I believe my practical experience, problem-solving ability and commitment to safe work make me a strong candidate for this position.
