I started my career in retail and warehouse operations, gaining hands-on experience at ground level and developing a strong interest in logistics and systems. Through commitment, continuous learning, and a willingness to take responsibility, I progressed through various roles within the SPAR and Buildit distribution centres in KwaZulu-Natal. Due to the recent outlook of closing the Buildit DC, I am seeking a new role in logistics.
My journey has taken me from warehouse and IT support roles into inventory control, operations leadership, and ultimately warehouse management. Each step strengthened my understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, people management, and process improvement.
Today, as a Warehouse Manager, I focus on leading teams, driving efficiency, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring a safe, well-controlled operation. I manage the the full process from receiving to dispatching. My story reflects steady growth, accountability, and a commitment to operational excellence.
