In my present role, I manage day-to-day laboratory activities and oversee quality assurance functions to ensure the achievement of highly accurate results.
I am an analytical, goal oriented person who has developed a mature and responsible calm approach to any task that I undertake. Working as a Medical technician and then as Medical technologist in an academic microbiology lab over the past 5 years post qualification. I have acquired meticulous skills and I am excellent in training, motivating and influencing colleagues to render quality service to clients.
As a qualified, registered Microbiologist with 17 years experience in a laboratory, currently employed by NHLS.
I acquired my ND in Microbiology at CPUT.
