Am 23 years experience in mining from the year 2000 till to date on open pit mining in that currently specialized in open pit operation by ensuring that;
Working with the mining contractor to ensure mutual success in operations.
Ensuring that production plans, schedules, and overall KPIs are met within the appropriate quality standards; ensuring that efficient operations and high productivity are maintained.
Supervising activity on a day-today basis
Supervising the short and medium-term plans at the open pit and ensuring that all production, safety,
and environmental targets are achieved.
Developing, implementing, and controlling optimal management systems for the ‘drill and blast’
section and the ‘load and haul’ operation

Ensure that all mining employees are properly trained on the use of appropriate equipment.
Coordinates open pit activities stripping and loading activities.
Manage cost efficiency, quality of work and supervise the Load & Haul team.
Ensure that any accident / incident/ breakdown is reported immediately.
Provide job specific instructions on daily basis and monitor progress.
Communicate progress update routinely and effectively with the Mine Manager and other supervisors as required.
Ensure employee Health and safety through compliance with all safety and mine regulations, as well as company policies and regulations.

Position : GRADE CONTROL OFFICER

Ensure grade control estimation and ore perimeter designs incorporate all available relevant assay, pit mapping and drill hole logging data.
Ensure that drilling and assays are in sequence with the mining plan.
Undertake ore loss and dilution control studies including reconciliation as part of the process of understanding the impact of decisions taken during grade control estimation.

Maintain records of mine production and development performance, including performance of machinery.
Direct and coordinate communication procedures during emergencies. Instruct callers appropriately and keep them informed of any rescue effort. Alert and dispatch rescue personnel to emergency calls and critical alarms.

Plan, direct, coordinate mine operations section including mine production, budget through subordinate supervisory personnel and activities concerned.
Optimize mine production through the use of GPS based fleet management technology, productivity analysis and promoting safe efficiency as a culture.
Develop, maintain, and improve area and work standards and procedures.
Lead and coach subordinates in this process
LEAN management and continuous improvement measures in each production area.
