at Hyde Park Primary School ,Self Motivated stemmed from learning to love and loving what you do, My passion is youth developement, wether it was on the field doing sports or during lessons (computer a or life skills lesson). Learners with good motivation and goal driven have a good impact on the community and its development. One highlight, when a learner with lack of self confidence saw their strength when they achieve something they didn't expect.
One sad moment, when youth program crumbled during and after COVID, meeting one of the ex-youth program participant (Myinc Youth development project) after 3 years, drunk and stoned, calling me asking me away out, calling to start the program again, saying he is loosing it and drifting away from the person he became during the program ( he stop smoking marijuana during that time)
