Dr. Mukuna Kananga Robert is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Free State, Faculty of Education, Educational Psychology, Department of Educational Foundations, South Africa. He is the International Journal of Studies in Psychology initiator. He was a postdoc fellow, Ph.D. and Masters holder in Educational Psychology from the University of the Western Cape. He completed his Honours degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He serves as a Special Interest Group leader for the Psychosocialities of Teaching and Learning, Faculty of Education, UFS. He is passionate about research, which focuses on Psychological Assessment, Psychosocial Factors, Rural Education, Inclusive Education, Multiculturalism, Educational Psychology, and Community Psychology. He is an NRF Funding holder.He is an academic champion of the International collaboration Engagement between the University of the Free State and the Ludwigsburg University of Education (Germany).
I am responsible for teaching, marking, setting assignments and tests, and exam papers in four modules. I teach three large modules alone, constituting about 2000 students on the qwaqwa campus. These include Inclusive for Teaching and Learning (GPED2613) Senior phase and Inclusive Education (GPEV2613) FET modules for 2nd-year students. I teach Teaching Practices Intermediate Phase (TPRI2502) to 2nd-year students. Furthermore, I am responsible for a large class: Human Relationship in Educational context (EDUB2724), which involves about 800 students in the second semester. I also teach the Responsive Teaching for Meaningful Learning (EDRT1713) to about 400 students (PGCE module). I teach Life Orientation, Senior Phase 2 (LOTV4705) to 4th-year students.
