My experience of 21 years in the Materials and Logistics management field, in the Construction industry expands over the petrochemical, power & energy generation and mining sectors which includes both projects and maintenance. I have covered all aspects of logistics & materials management operations, which includes, but not limited to, receiving, co-ordinating deliveries & unloading, designated & sequential storage, security, expediting, site procurement, including consumables and PPE, issuing, inventory control, preservation, reverse logistics coordination with the relevant stakeholders & management of documentation to ensure an efficient paper trail.
I have used various in-house material management packages where available; and, when not, I have devised my own systems to facilitate the job requirements and to effectively support the execution of project, production and maintenance schedules.
I am a competent, hardworking and a disciplined individual who works with the least amount of supervision and produces work of the highest quality. I have excellent industrial relations skills and am a great team player with a demonstrated history of managing large teams.
My employment experiences have granted me the ability to cope in a pressurized environment and liaise with clients with the utmost professionalism. My employers and colleagues have found me to be of a friendly and pleasing personality with excellent communication skills.
