 Conducting process research test works for process optimization and other project work as required by metallurgists.

 Put materials through test procedures, often using complex equipment, under the direction of metallurgists and other professionals.

 Supervising the metallurgical laboratory section and making sure that all the instructions and work from the plant metallurgist is done properly.

 Ensuring compliance to safety, health and environmental practices so as to reduce occupational incident
