I am Zimbabwean born currently living and working in South Africa. I have an Advanced Diploma in Conservation and Wildlife Management and approximately 3 years of work experience in wildlife management. I am passionate about wildlife and conserving their environment as well as a keen interest in the rehabilitation of flora and fauna species.
I am constantly looking for ways to improve my understanding of the environment and learning about various aspects of my chosen field. I am open to new experiences that will help drive me forward. I have done advanced courses in snake identification and handling, rehabilitation and parasitology of urban wildlife with an advanced course in bat handling, basic survival and identification of wild foods and bush medicine and level 1 in first aid.
I am an active person, having swum competitively throughout my childhood accumulating provincial colors in Lifesaving and open water swimming for several years. I maintain this active lifestyle now by participating in a water polo league and enjoy hiking and cycling.
