• From 1981 to 1986 I held the position of Group Accountant responsible for the preparation and detailed analysis of the monthly management accounts
• Meet with MD, FD and Dealer Principles to examine variances against budget and the prior year
• Assist MD, FD and Dealer Principles in the preparation of viable action plans
• Business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting including management and development of policies and systems, processes
• Submission of monthly accounting packs to Lonrho Ltd Head Office
• Controlled the move from a manual Kalamazoo system to a computerized Kerridge Motor System
• Completion and submission of monthly VAT and annual tax returns
• Monitor the integrity of the payroll
