After I matriculated in 2006, I studied B.Ed (Education). I studied from 2007 – 2009 gaining experience as a full-time teacher at various schools in Pretoria; including: C.R.
School, Riviera Primary School, Simon Bekker Primary, & various other schools as a substitute teacher.
I then started working in the Private Sector as a Stock Control Administrator for Makro SA. I gained experience using Microsoft Office, SAP, & Back Office, and leading a team of 7. I also took down minutes of meetings, & weekly & monthly stats.
I left to be part of our family business (Jubulani Travel & Tours) as Admin manager. My main role was Admin, but I helped with travel arrangements, bookings, liaison with clients etc. Sadly, my mother passed away in November 2014, so the company had to undergo some changes.
After that I struggled a bit to find a new job, so I applied to anything I could get my hands on, which included a General worker position at NHG. I did mostly Silk Screening, but at times I also helped out in all departments.
I then joined Gay SA Radio, as Administrator. During this time, I also was live on air at times, created, wrote, & edited my own podcast show. I planned the company’s birthday party at Pretoria LGBT Pride annually, did a lot of activism work, went out to venues, spoke to various people & cultures within the LGBTQ community as well as allies.
I planned & hosted my own interviews with various people, locally & internationally. The first 4-5 months Gay SA Radio was an on-site position. In 2018-2019 all staff worked hybrid, & then turned remotely until Covid trashed the economy & they had to retrench staff.
The end of 2020 the directors of Let’s Go Big Tunes came back to me and asked if I could help them out by doing their PR. Let’s Go Big Tunes started as an Events Company in 2019 created by 5 friends, me included. I created the logo as it is today. When asked back in a remote position in 2020 I did Press Releases on a regular basis, video creating & production. We did our Gay SA Radio podcast as a vlog, where I adapted & edited the show.
I did my TEFL Certification & decided to go back into online teaching. The consistency isn’t very regular, so I did my Google Ads Certification. I do not have a lot of experience yet, but I'm eager to learn & start from the bottom & work my way up.
In my free time, I like to spend time with family & friends, watch movies, listen to music, create videos, and study. I regard myself as highly professional, with excellent eye for detail & exceptionally organized. I adapt quickly & am a fast learner.
I studied B. Ed. from 2007-2009, and gained experience as an educator/teacher. I also completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certificate.
Most of my other certification is from online courses that I completed in Business Administration, Human Resources, and Public Relations. As I mentioned I am an eager learner, so my studies in these respected fields have not yet concluded and want to learn as much as I possibly can.
I also obtained 3 Google Ads Search certification so far from Google Skillshop, and also am not finished. I also plan on achieving 3 more Google Ads Search Certifications as well as for Google Ads Manager and Google analytics.
As soon as the above courses is complete and certification has been obtained, I will update it here as well.
