I recently completed a BSc in Chemistry and Geology and have been working in environmental and groundwater-related field operations while also taking on junior hydrology responsibilities. My role has involved intensive fieldwork such as pump testing, groundwater monitoring, sampling, and borehole-related work, but I’ve also been responsible for reporting, data interpretation, and mapping support.
Long-term, I’m working toward registration with SACNASP and potentially EAPASA, and I’m especially interested in environmental consulting.
In my current role within an environmental consulting environment, I am involved in hydrogeological field investigations, groundwater sampling, and environmental data collection. I also contribute to the interpretation of laboratory results, preparation of technical reports, and development of spatial outputs using GIS tools. This has strengthened my ability to work across field, laboratory, and office-based environments.
Completed high school at Transvalia High School, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences in Chemistry and Geology at North-West University (NWU). These qualifications provided me a strong foundation in chemical, geological, and environmental sciences, with applied knowledge of of both chemistry an geology processes, and practical field and laboratory analysis.
