Rufaro Sabelanga

Hello! My name is Rufaro. I'm a qualified ESL Tutor, which means that I am certified to teach English as a foreign language. I have a CertTESOL Diploma, a GA-L5 TEFL Certificate and 5 years' experience; 2 years of informal teaching and 3 years of formal teaching both online and face to face.

In my class, you can expect to have all your needs met and be able to track your progress. My teaching philosophy is all students are unique and their needs are different, therefore, all classes are tailored to the student's specific needs. I have experience teaching both one on one classes and group classes as well.

I believe in using any material for classes as this ensures that lessons aren't boring and student needs are met. I have 5 years' teaching experience. I have taught professionals, beginners, volunteers and refugees as well from all over the world. This experience has helped me adopt to different teaching environments and appreciate the change I see in people when their goals are met. For some people, their professional lives are completely transformed and for some they have a sense of belonging as they're now able to communicate with other people.

Learning and teaching a language also gives exposure. I have learnt more about different cultures, and I realise that I have also had the opportunity to share my culture as well.

I'm an Accounting undergraduate studying part-time with The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. I have a CertTESOL Diploma and a GA-L5 TEFL Certificate as well.
