I'm a Senior Data Engineering Consultant with over 10 years of experience designing and delivering data solutions across some of South Africa's biggest financial institutions, including Standard Bank, MTN, and FNB.
My career started in data analysis and visualisation at Standard Bank, where I built QlikView and Power BI dashboards and developed data warehouses. From there I moved into more complex engineering work: ETL pipelines, SQL development, Azure cloud infrastructure, and regulatory compliance reporting.
In my current role at ITBusiness, I've been consulting at FNB across multiple projects migrating legacy SQL Server environments, building automation tools to speed up migration validation, and developing data management pipelines. I enjoy finding ways to reduce manual effort and make data processes faster and more reliable.
I hold a BCom in Financial Management from UNISA and a Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification, and I'm continuously upskilling, I'm currently working through Databricks, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Fabric certifications.
What drives me is turning complex business problems into clean, scalable data solutions and I'm particularly passionate about cloud-based data engineering and automation.
