I am a dedicated Bachelor of Pharmacy graduate with a strong passion for patient-centred care, community health, and professional excellence. With experience in both retail and public institutional pharmacy settings, I have developed solid skills in dispensing, counselling, stock management, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based healthcare. I am motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to making a positive impact in every environment I work in.
My goal is to grow as a clinician, serve my community with integrity, and contribute meaningfully to improving patient well-being.
I have gained strong practical experience through externships in both public hospital pharmacies across KwaZulu-Natal and in a retail pharmacy setting at Medi-Rite Pavilion. My responsibilities included accurate dispensing, patient counselling, and ensuring strict compliance with Good Pharmacy Practice standards. I am skilled in stock control and inventory management using systems such as UNISOLV and Rx Solution, applying FIFO/FEFO principles to maintain medicine quality and reduce waste.
I have also contributed to cold chain maintenance, formulary management, and collaborated effectively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams. These experiences have equipped me with the operational, clinical, and communication skills essential for delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centred pharmaceutical care.
I have completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2022–2025), where I gained strong theoretical and practical foundations in pharmaceutical sciences, patient care, and pharmacy operations. I achieved a Dean’s Commendation in my final-year first semester. My education included hands-on training through structured externships in both public hospital and retail pharmacy settings, preparing me for competent, patient-centred pharmacy practice.
