I have studied at The University of Cape Town and majored in English and Linguistics. Through my years at university I have built up strong linguistic competence and therefore I can determine how language works in society, how accents work, and how to appropriately manage language skills and ability.
I am a recent graduate and I am trying to gain experience in the world of language by using my linguistic competence to the best of its ability. I am excellent at understanding others as I am an outstanding communicator and I have an extraverted personality. I can work amongst and with people to create a harmonious environment for collaborative learning and ease.
I was Class Representative for my Arabic year 1 class for two semesters in a row and liased with the Arabic departement as well as the professor in order to make light the work of the students in my class.
I have worked many student jobs at the university I was enrolled at over the course of my degree. I worked as a note taker for disabled students for 1.5 years and as a librarian assistant for 1 year and I have also worked as a class representative for 1 year (2 semesters).
I am a University of Cape Town graduate with a double major in English and Linguistics and therefore my analytical skills is fresh as well as my linguistic ability in understanding language and people.
