Malinga is a highly competent, motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic team worker. I recently published a study based on “THE INTERACTION BETWEEEN METFORMIN THERAPY AND LIFESTYLE INTERVENTION ON GLYCEMIC CONTROL IN A DIET-INDUCED PRE-DIABETIC RAT MODEL: DOES LIFESTYLE INTERVENTION INFLUENCE THE EFFECTS OF METFORMIN THERAPY?”

Based on my leadership, I serve as the SRC member, particularly the College of Health Science Representative at University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. I am very good at understanding people and taking their issues into considerations, making sure that they are all resolved. My manner of approach is very organized, and I interact with people very well, which make it easier to work with people.

Working at Laboratories as Laboratory assistant, I ensured that all students adhere to meticulous health and safety regulations. Also developed new operating procedures for equipment management and eradicating any risk of stock/ materialistic wastage. I Assisted senior students for preparation of laboratory experiments.

Ensuring that all equipment's are clean at all times, thus maintaining safe and secure area. I oversaw daily operations including order tracking and data inputs. Delivered high quality service with attention to detail when handling unique requests.

I also served as a Tutor for students under BOKAMOSO. I did my job very well and they still want me to help their students, because after my input, the students results were amazing. I am very good at sharing knowledge and my experiences. Hence, my communication skill has developed very much better. I am currently a Mentor for physiology students, ensuring sufficient study and developing strategies for fast and easy learning as they endeavour their undergrad. degrees
